I've broken my left ankle twice, my right once... First time was my left, when I was 13. I was running around this paddock at our weekend farm with our dog, and managed to trip over this tiny (about an inch high) mound... I fell over, my ankle got mangled... Ouch...

The second time was also courtesy of the snow... My school has a ski camp in year nine. We do all this cross country skiing as well as downhill, and I managed to get one of my ski's stuck in the snow and trip over. I could walk on it, and managed to get to base camp, but then ended up going home the next day... It turned out it was broken, only just though.

The final time was in my last year of school, and isn't strictly my ankle - I love to play rugby (and better Aussie version of what the yanks call football) and was in the schools top team. We made it through to the Grand Finals (quite a big deal) and I managed to somehow get the ball and sprint... There was, unfortuantely, someone who managed to catch up with me. I was about to thrown myself over the try line and he dived at my legs, trying to get me down. Anyway, I threw myself forwards, my right leg is being pulled down, and back... Ouch again... This time it was my knee and femur... Not pretty...

Anyway, hope you get better soon, good luck!!
