I’m beginning to regret planting a Horse Chestnut in my front yard. The bud has a sticky sheath that falls to the ground when the tree leafs out. They those sheaths stick to my shoes. I have to be careful about tracking them in the house or car, because the sticky substance ins not water soluble.
