Guess grandpa never … Guess grandpa never learned how to notch a tree and how to use wedges. it looks like a old ash and they r very tricky 2 cut cuz the wood is very springy. i think I would called a pro and atleast had him limb and cut the top off b4 he tried downing the tree.
