« Does anyone know about tree removal in S.W. PA and if they will pay me for the timber?
Which part of the script should I use to draw a picture of? »

Do I have a good estimate for tree removals?

5 50-foot hemlocks + stump grinding = $2,500
in Massachusetts.
Is this a good price?

Neighbor just had 2 60 or better ft. oaks taken out last week.
$1600 in Tn, including the stump grinding (which sucks because it is hell getting it out of your yard over the next summer). So I think your in a good price range.

In Indiana-last year-1 large diameter old tree, 40-50ft tall, easy access from alley, no stump grinding, 1100 dollars, I had some stumps ground some time back, about 40 bucks a stump.
I really think the tree guy priced high cause he did not want to do it since I needed the tree taken down in sections to a height of about 10 ft and I do all the clean-up.

I think it probably is, it will take time and workers. Those are pretty big trees. If they leave it clean that is probably not too steep. All I could suggest is that you see if they have references from satisfied customers.

Dude, you are lucky to HAVE 5 50 foot hemlocks…why do you want to remove them? That’s so cynical.

Now please don’t tell me myths like "oh well I am afraid it will fall on the house" or "ow, well it’s blocking a lot of light" that’s just bull.

If you don’t like trees move to Azirona or New Mexico or something. Leave the trees to people who like having a VERY green landscape.

I urge you to reconsider your decidion. UIt’s not really worth it afterall.
